Get involved

There are a number of ways you can get involved in the work of Pacific Black Box:

Become a member

Becoming a PBB member adds you to our mailing list, and keeps you up to date about PBB activities.

You will also be invited to the annual general meeting for your input, and to the supporters' dinner held afterwards. Please email PBB for a copy of the rules of the association, and for a member's application form — admin@pacificblackbox.com.au.

Hold a fundraising activity

PBB is incredibly grateful to anyone considering us as a beneficiary for your fundraising activities. If you are interested in fundraising for PBB it is a requirement that all fundraising activities or events are approved by PBB committee of management.

Help out in a fundraising activity

If you are interested in helping out at our fundraising events — from selling tickets to dancing at an Island Dance-off — please contact us at admin@pacificblackbox.com.au.

Come along to our fundraisers

Throughout the year Pacific Black Box holds fundraisers to raise enough money to carry out our projects. As we are an entirely volunteer-run organisation, these fundraisers are crucial to making our projects happen. Please keep an eye on our Facebook page and Twitter for more info — or let us know if you would like to be added to the mailing list.

Add to our 'skills bank'

Pacific Black Box is developing a 'skills bank', for people who have specific skills that could be useful to PBB for a particular purpose or activity (usually a once-off volunteer role). Please email us at admin@pacificblackbox.com.au for a skills bank form and we will let you know if an opportunity comes up.

Ongoing volunteering

Unfortunately at the moment we do not have the capacity to manage ongoing volunteers, but if you are interested in this please send us an email and we will get back to you if any positions become available, or if we get support to take on ongoing volunteers in the future.
